The Summit with Father Kyle Ingels

In this week's special episode, Father Kyle looks back on his twenty years as a priest. Father Kyle was ordained a priest on May 28, 2005 for the Archdiocese of Washington D.C. and served at several parishes before returning to Colorado Springs in 2014. He was named Director of Campus Ministry by Bishop Michael Sheridan and remained in that role until 2024, when he was appointed Vicar General by Bishop James Golka.

This week our guest is Deacon Christian Vaca, soon to be Reverend Christian Vaca, our newest priest in the Diocese of Colorado Springs. Christian's ordination is on June 7, 2025 at St. Mary Cathedral in Colorado Springs, CO.

On this week's episode, Fr. Kyle talks about the recent ordination to the Sacred Order of Deacons of three seminarians. Listen as he walks us through this ritual ceremony and Mass.

The guest this week is Veronica Ambuul, the Director of Communications in the Diocese of Colorado Springs. Fr. Kyle and Veronica talk about the election of Pope Leo XIV and his background. They also talk about his hometown of Dolton, Illinois, which is also Veronica's hometown, in the southside of Chicago and what it was like to grow up there.  

This week Fr. Matt Kane and Stacy Paris from Our Lady of the Pines Parish in Black Forest recap their recent trip to Rome with their teen youth group. Initially, their trip was to witness the canonization of Blessed Carlo Acutis, but instead they were able to witness the funeral of Pope Francis.
